When questioned about the film’s delay in release, he shared, “I don’t know much either, but it’s a very well-made film. Yes, the film is complete, and it has turned out to be excellent—truly a brilliant film. Anushka Sharma has delivered one of her best performances to date. However, I have no idea when this film will be released or what will happen with it. I can only hope. I haven’t spoken to the makers to understand why the release is getting delayed. Is it a censorboard issue? Are there no available screens? Is the film struggling to find a market? As of now, there has been no clear update.”
Speaking more on the same he stated, “I would definitely like to discuss this and find out what the issue is. But one thing is certain—it’s a brilliant subject, with brilliant performances, and of course, this film deserves to be released. It’s a really well-made film.”
